NPI Engineer / Staff / Section Head - Penang

Responsibilities

• NPI Engineer

• 1. Perform material qualification specifically on lead frame & substrate.

• 2. Responsible for lead frame & substrate material qualification & optimization at the pre-qual stage of NPI program

• 3. Responsible for expired material re-buyoff

• 4. Responsible to prepare material qualification report & documentation for part approval

• 5. To work with suppliers on activities & issues related to lead frame & substrate materials.

• 6. Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

• NPI SH/Staff Engineer

• 1. Lead NPI engineering team on new product qualification program management based on APQP system

• 2. Responsible for NPI / APQP system improvement

• 3. Manage First Article Inspection (FAI) material ( lead frame & substrate ) qualification activities

• 4. Lead Assembly Process Development Engineering (PDE) team in developing & establishing robust process right from the pre-qualification & qualification stages

• 5. Dealing with internal & external customers on the NPI & development related activities

Requirements

• 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Electronics & Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronic / Electromechanical or Applied Science (Physics)

• 2. At least 3 year(s) of working experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing is required for this position.

• 3. Strong analytical mind, result oriented, dynamic team player, able to work independent

• 4. Excellent interpersonal skill to allow interaction at all levels of personnel in various functions

• 5. Excellent oral, written and reporting skill in English

• 6. Experience in customer communication is added advantage.
