PRODUCTION INTEGRATION & OPERATIONS MANAGER/ DATA CENTRE MANAGER (MALAYSIA)

Responsibilities

• To liaise with the lines of service and project managers to translate the support requirements into a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost proposal, a schedule of Production Integration activities to be included in the project plan, and acceptance criteria for the lines of service, to be used at project reviews

• To create or support the operating level agreement (depending on what has been agreed with the project manager)

• To support the Operational Readiness Review and capturing formal sign-offs for Go-Live on the Review & Approvals database

• To work closely with operations centre management for the regional consistency strategy of all aspects of operations service delivery such as data centre operations, facilities management, processes and procedures.

• To manage and integrate a wide variety of technical services and/or product lines within single/multiple centres to provide support to a designated customer population.

• To leverage business, technical, and interpersonal skills to work with data centre staff to manage operations, customers and operations personnel.

• Works with client to enhance delivery of service through effective monitoring of programs, process improvement and problem prevention/resolution initiatives.

• To develop and implements monthly/annual operational budgets, forecasts, business plans, operations unit rates and costings to ensure proper planning for impacts of marketing efforts, outages, service level agreements and other issues.

• To ensure smooth integration with Global Management Centres so as to provide continuous service to customer.

Requirements

• The candidate must possess a Degree in Computer Science

• Minimum 8 – 15 years experience as a Regional Data Centre Lead

• Must have hands-on operational process and procedures such as production integration, production control and scheduling and facilitate management of the data centres in Malaysia as well as interfacing with the Global Management Centres

• Must possess good communication, analytical, problem management and risk management skills
