Chief Engineer - FCP-TP

Responsibilities

• To develop technical/technology options to meet consumer needs and business requirements, individually and in team.

• To generate ideas & concepts, to carry out feasibility studies, to develop test methodology for verification of performance, to demonstrate functionality & performance, to establish cost and industrialization impact; towards the creation of new products, functions and/or features.

• To lead a team in developing the full specifications of a product including engineering data & documentation.

• To conduct quality improvement studies, execution of quality improvement actions and perform cost reduction activities on existing, and new products

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Physics / Mechanical Engineering / Product Design

• At least 5 years of experience in product creation and development

• Strong interest in product innovation, in particular consumer products

• Proven track record in creativity

• Strong knowledge of thermal-physics & flow dynamics, their application and manufacturing processes

• Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking

• Good communication & team skill, with proven success as team/project leader

• Insight in research methodology, new product conceptualization, applying new technology, product development & introduction
