Master / PhD Degree in applied physics, plasma physics or vacuum physics related / materials science and engineering, heat treatment, and material physics related;
Possess a keen interest, know-how and broad understanding of thin films coating and chemical vapor deposition process;
Familiar with PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition), PECVD process and vacuum equipments;
Familiar with principle of ion beam source, electron beam source, cathodic arc and magnetron sputtering, related experience is preferred;
Familiar with hard coating preparation and characterization.
Expertise in Diamond like carbon (DLC) is preferred;
Familiar with pre- and post-treatment of coatings and thin films;
Possess good understanding of toughness measurement of nanocomposite thin films and adhesion strength study of HA coatings;
Background in PVD Target design and optimization a plus;
Possess knowledge and understanding in mechanical, electrical and nanotribology study of thin films;
Able to speak and write English and Chinese fluently to communicate with superiors and colleagues;
Good interpersonal, strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills;
Passionate and open to communicate with a positive mindset;
Innovative, initiative and independent, with desire to drive for excellence;
Work well with a small team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with minimal supervision.
