Operations Manager- PCB

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall performance of a sizable PCB manufacturing facility

• Define the overall operational strategies for the manufacturing plant.

• Oversee all functions within the manufacturing plant, work closely with Logistic and Quality to meet customer needs.

• Constantly review the manufacturing process for continuous improvements.

• Maximize capacity and resources utilization, productivity, OTD performance and profitability.

• To initiate and drive cost down programs, improve KPI, quality, lead-time and capabilities etc.

• Work closely with management to sustain growth of the business.

• Enable consistent ongoing improvement programmes in terms of manufacturing effectiveness and people development / training

• Assist with the implementation and development of lean manufacturing techniques

Requirements

• Degree of Engineering

• Minimum 10 years solid industrial and managerial experience in sizeable contract manufacturing operations of PCB / electronic products.

• Solid experience in ISO9000, 14000, RoHs, lean manufacturing and other productivity improvement programs.

• Knowledgeable in the latest manufacturing technologies and methodologies for optimum manufacturing efficiency and reliability.

• Technically capable to resolve all manufacturing related problems.

• Understand the characteristics of OEM/EMS businesses and product cost structure.

• A self-starter and be able to constantly identify, review, monitor and improve the overall plant performance.

• Strong leadership and motivation skills and be able to lead the factory management to achieve the corporate goals.
