Product Cost Accountant

Responsibilities

• Perform closing tasks each month to ensure accurate expense and inventory valuations

• Maintain product cost of all inventories and ensure all Product Cost Estimates (PCE’s) are completed accurately and timely

• Coordinate annual physical inventory stock-takes

• Inventory Management – (Stock in-transit, inventory adjustments, stock balance reviews)

• Legal Gross Margin Analysis

• Inter-company Price review

• Perform cost account reconciliations

• Review inactive and slow moving inventories

• Attend regular Cost process training sessions

• Educate partners on cost process

• Participate in ad-hoc projects or implementation activities for responsible entities

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields

• Professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CFA, etc..) not required but beneficial

• At least 3-4 years accounting experience, cost accounting experience would be beneficial but not required

• Good accounting knowledge, SAP knowledge is a plus but not required

• Fluent English and good communication skills

• Effective interpersonal skills and strong team player

• Good analytical skills ensure activities are completed accurately and timely

• Proactive in addressing issues and problems

• Able to manage multiple priorities
