Sales and Application Support Engineer- APAC-Indoor Network Controls

Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-sales project acquisition support to the Asian BDM’s, CSU’s and VARS in Indoor Network Controls.

  • Provide in depth pre-sales second line technical advice and support on the use and application of company products and software.

  • Provide product and application training to the CSU’s and VAR’s

  • Provide design, quotation, application and tender proposals support to the Asian BDM’s, CSU’s (and VARS)

  • Attend project acquisition meetings in the countries and to assist with applying the best solution for the project requirements

  • Provide product and application training to the CSUs and VARs.

  • Provide Dimension accreditation support for the region

  • Provide pricing information in cooperation with BDM’s Asia

  • Maintain appropriate project records.

  • Support the preparation of maintenance quotations.

  • Provide pre-sales technical and application support in response to CSU/(VAR) requests.

  • Checking of designs and proposals from the CSU.

  • Provide labour estimation support to the CSU.

  • Ensure all customer sales and service enquiries are handled in a timely and effective manner.

  • Advise BDM’s Asia of new project leads and CSU enquiries.

  • Handling marcom requests and liaising with Marketing on new or revised marcom requirements

  • Advise management of service complaints and corrective action taken.

  • Prepare, measure and report personal KPI’s.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years experience in a customer service role

  • Good experience in CAD drawing, M& E and controll system.

  • Good communicator and can engage well with employees at all levels of the organisation

  • Reliable and well organised individual with good attention to detail

  • Good understanding of the Lighting business; sales, marketing, financial, logistics, service & maintenance

  • Good financial awareness

  • Good knowledge of the specification project and Custom Install business channels

  • Good product and technical knowledge/awareness
