1.Optimize logistics performance in the supply chain
Maintain complete and accurate company spend & saving visibility on Logistics cost in Asia Pacific e.g warehousing, outbound/inbound cost etc.
Continuously improve 3PL’s performance with regards to delivery, damage/loss, data and billing integrity, flexibility to change, complaints handling, etc.
Lead contract review like Last Mile Provider (LMP)/installation in the Door-to-Room program, warehouses in Schiphol (KR91), ANZ (DHL), Thailand (ECL), Malaysia (Panalpina) Singapore, Vietnam/ Indonesia / Philippines /Pakistan (VIPP), Korea & Japan etc.
Continuously explore cost-down initiatives and lead projects where appropriate:
- Coordinate with PMG on its Forward Stocking program for MX16 in Singapore – for CT staging warehouse with DHL to support on delivery
- Installation cost saving opportunities
- Aligning with TransPHorm team about the warehouse consolidation program
2. Lead and strategize 3PL/4PL relationship
Foster supplier relationship with key Last Mile Provider (LMPs), through Quarterly Business Review (QBRs), early supplier involvement in projects, etc.
Secure high compliance on Lead Service Provider (LSPs) operation, with regards to contract cov-erage, risk, security, sustainability, etc.
3. Support corporate strategies for the company.
Continuously provide input to Healthcare global team on Sector’s strategies.
Project lead on Control Tower rollout for APAC
Reinforcement on the Direct Delivery Program within Asia Pacific
As a single point of contact to other organization on Sector-relevant matters. For example, Healthcare’s Physical Distribution Council, Forwarding & Distribution (F&D), Corporate Fiscal (on Customs), Insurance & Risk Management Department (IRMD), Export Control, etc.
Extend assistance to Greater China & India, subject to Global team’s timeline and direction
4. Export Control
Manage the Export Control Process within Region while aligning with Corporate Export Control guideline
Closely monitor and alarm through regular review and reporting
Work with Global Team to deploy the GTS (Global Trade System) within Region
5. Key Issues and Decisions
Transformation of the current KM-focused supply chain function to a leveraged supply chain
function across company for BC APAC.
Increase the performance of the SCM Business Processes in BC APAC while aligning the processes set by GOSC (Global Operations & Supply Chain) / BC NA / BC EMEA
