Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the Company meets and complies with all accounting policies, tax, statutory and regulatory requirements.

• Responsible to consolidate and produce periodic financial reports and ad hoc reports as required for reporting business results, including variance analysis for revenues, expenses and key performance indicators.

• Participate in the project review meeting and work with and drive the respective functional head to identify and implement solutions to control and further improve the financial performance.

• Proactively identify opportunities to gain efficiency, improve fiscal controls and improve capabilities within area of responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.

• Professional certification in CPA is necessary.

• At least 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience with a starting career in a reputable audit firm; the last 3 years in the capacity of a section head in a MNC or public listed company.

• Knowledge of US GAAP, SOX404, IFRS and Singapore FRS is highly preferred.

• Strong competencies in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

• Experience in dealing with the governmental bodies, such as R&D grant application/submission will be an added advantage.

• Results-driven under tight deadlines, especially during monthly financial closing.

• Self-independent with ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work well in a team, with flexibility and adaptability to new situations.

• Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
