Product Quality Assistant Manager/Manager

Responsibilities
Interface between Innovation & Development (I &D), Purchasing, Engineering and supplier.
Drive and own preventive quality assurance during development and industrialization setup.
Train/Coach the Advanced Quality Plan team members on quality assurance/control tools within the scope of the Advanced Quality Plan project.
As core member of supplier selection and assessment teams, release the supplier for defined capability and commodity
Drive Supplier quality ownership during Integrated Product Development process for each project
Conduct supplier’s product and process validation in Product Creation Process
Ensures process and quality readiness & safe launch before mass production
Drive structural supplier process quality or company design related component issues during NPI
Support lead SQM on structural supplier process quality or company design related component issues during Lifecycle Management and for field issues
Measure/monitor Supplier performance and coordinate project-specific improvement programs
Check the released and long term supplier capabilities for defined products
Implement lessons learned in other/new products, respectively new or running projects
Conduct regular project quality reviews with Suppliers
Transfer the relevant product and process Critical To Quality (CTQs) to the receiving teams (Final Assembly centers)
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Good inter-personal skills
Experience in managing cross-cultural teams
Good understanding of statistical methods, quality tools and methodologies (Critical To Quality breakdown, Design For Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, Advanced Quality Plan, Failure Mode Effect & Analysis, Control Plan, etc)
Design For Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt certification preferred
Highly motivated, results driven, persistent
Ability to communicate well, oral and written, in English and local language
Cross functional skills/ experience and awareness of business requirements
Auditing Skills mandatory, Auditor certification preferred
Flexibility in travelling regional and (inter)continental when required
