Design & Development Section Head / Manager- Penang

Responsibilities

• Lead Design team to meet package technology and business requirements.

• Design and implement improvement to products, processes, materials, tooling equipment or documentation which enhance the utility, reliability or cost effectiveness.

• To handle issues related with designs with suppliers and customers.

• To liaise with supplier on design and manufacturing capabilities.

• Communicate with customer on package / design requirement and capabilities.

• Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Masters/Degree in Applied Science (Physics)/ Electrical/ Mechanical/Material Engineering

• Minimum 3 years’ related experience in the Semiconductor industry

• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, electrical / optical measurement or product engineering

• Experience in design process & tools in designing semiconductor package

• Knowledge in stress simulation application is an added advantage

• Strong leadership & good communication skills to be able to interact effectively with people at all levels

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
