Responsibilities
Perform material qualification specifically on lead frame & substrate.
Responsible for lead frame & substrate material qualification & optimization at the pre-qual stage of NPI program
Quality assurance for Test/Product Engineering, Wafer Sort and Test Operation.
Drive corrective and preventive actions for Quality Improvement.
Provide engineering support to equipment maintenance, process engineering, and process development.
Source, evaluate and procedure process equipment.
Review equipment flexibility and initiates the design and purchase of additional jigs, fixtures if necessary.
Improve equipment MTBA, MTTR & MTBF through continuous improvement concept.
Source and develop partnership with equipment vendors, direct material suppliers and other assembly and packaging related supplier.
Keep abreast of changes in technology, quality requirements, new package and processes and implement where applicable to company's situation.
Introduction of new packages / new equipment / new high density packages.
Identify and implement productivity improvement and cost effective programs to ultimately bring cost effectiveness to its maximum.
Requirements
A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Electronics & Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronic / Electromechanical or any other related discipline
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing is required for this position.
Strong analytical mind, result oriented, dynamic team player, able to work independent
Excellent interpersonal skill to allow interaction at all levels of personnel in various functions
Excellent oral, written and reporting skill in English
Experience in customer communication is added advantage.
